“ My wife and I plus my whole family, actually, mom, dad, brothers, niecenephew, etc. absolutely love The Modern Rose. We came here the first time with my mother when it had just opened, and although way more people have found out about this once hidden gem, its still just as amazing, with great vegan and nonvegan options, alike, so something for everyone. Great cafe with some delicious teas and coffee, both regular like drip and lattes and speciality tea creations and coffee, as well. Today, for example, I got the Churro Cold Brew and my wife got a Passion Breeze signature tea. I also got my recent goto sandwich, the Boca Egg Sammie, which is all vegan, and added the vegan sausage. My wife got the CBR, which is a great option for her, the nonvegan type, which is a flat bread with mozzarella, chicken, bacon and ranch. Delish, she tells me! I cant say enough good things about this cafe, and it really is a great experience beyond just the food. Cute place, as well. I will always come back, no matter the wait it can sometimes take or the lines sometimes out the door. Worth it! 100 ”

“ This place has a very unique interior aesthetic, lots of visual sensory load but in a way that feels intriguing like walking through a modern art museum. The drink menu matches the distinctness of the decor and they have a lot of unique options that I have never seen anywhere else, like a dirty rose chai and boba drinks to accompany the usual coffee shop items. The food was good, just what you might expect from a sandwich nothing special in my opinion but I would order the breakfast sandwich again. There one issue is the space is a little cramped at peak times but only because of their seemingly high demand. Its a good problem to have for a business owner, people like the cafe! ”

“ Absolutely LOVED this spot. I have been going to St Augustine for over 14 years and have my usual spots locked in but this time around we decided to try something new when we found this hidden gem. The decoration was absolutely stunning and different. I had the modern panini and added sliced turkey to it which I really loved along with the creamy earl tea. This is to die for would recommend to anyone I can. The service was excellent as well everyone was super sweet ”

“ Walked in and was so surprised by how cute and homey it was!! Sat down and order via the QR code menu is big and coffee options are infinite. Took about 10 minutes to get our drinks and about 3040 minutes to get our food but we werent in a rush and they were busy. Staff was so friendly so that helps. Food was amazing their pesto was my favorite. My husband got a tea with some cloud foam and hes still talking about it. Definitely recommend this place!! ”
